The Elvaine Alabaster Semi-Flush Mount sets a gently flared shade of natural alabaster beneath a solid brass collar, held close to the ceiling on a short stem and round canopy. The shade widens softly toward its open base, so light glows through the stone and falls warmly into the room below. When lit, the alabaster reveals its cloudy veining in soft cream and grey tones. It comes in antique bronze, satin nickel, brass or black, for hallways, entryways, closets, bedrooms and other rooms with lower ceilings.

Each shade is cut from natural alabaster, so veining, tone and small marks differ from piece to piece. These variations are part of the stone and are not defects.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?
Yes. It mounts close to the ceiling on a short stem, so it suits hallways, closets and bedrooms where a hanging pendant would sit too low. Allow at least 7 feet of clearance below the shade in walkways.
Which finishes are available?
Antique bronze, satin nickel, brass and black, all with a natural alabaster shade. Bronze and brass lean warm and classic, nickel cool and clean, and black gives the sharpest contrast.

Alabaster is a natural stone, so the veining, tone and small marks differ on every piece. No two shades look exactly alike, and these variations are part of the stone, not defects.
How do I care for the stone?
Dust it with a soft, dry cloth and keep it away from water and cleaning sprays, which can mark the surface.
