Ships disassembled — flat-pack for safe transit
To protect the delicate ceramic ginkgo leaves and brass branches during shipping, the gingko chandelier arrives disassembled. Follow the included guide to shape the branches and attach each porcelain leaf. Both assembly video walkthroughs are linked above.
Measurement guide — fan out branches for full silhouette
Listed dimensions refer to the total span with branches fanned out and all porcelain leaves installed. The brass branches are flexible — gently fan out the outermost branches by hand to achieve the full vortex shape shown in the photos.
Glue marks on porcelain ginkgo leaves are normal
A small amount of glue is applied at the metal-leaf interface during production to secure the brass accessory on each leaf during transit and long-term use. Slight residue on some leaves is a normal part of production — it does not affect appearance or function of the gingko vortex chandelier.
Measure ceiling height + stairwell width before ordering
The gingko vortex chandelier drops 5 to 10 ft from the ceiling. Keep at least 7 ft of headroom between the bottom of the fixture and the lowest step or floor. The diameter should be no wider than half the stairwell or foyer opening.

Which size Gingko Vortex chandelier fits my stairwell or two-story foyer?
Match the vortex drop to your ceiling height with at least 7 ft of headroom under the lowest leaf. For a 10-12 ft ceiling foyer, pick Size S (H59", 220 leaves). For a standard two-story foyer (14-16 ft), pick Size M (H78.7", 330 leaves). For a grand staircase or double-height living room (18-20 ft), pick Size L (H98.4", 400 leaves). For hotel atriums or stairwell voids (22-25 ft), pick Size XL (H118", 520 leaves). The diameter should be no wider than half the stairwell or foyer opening.
What bulb does the Gingko Vortex chandelier use, and is it dimmable?
E12 candelabra base for US/Canada or G9 bi-pin for EU/Australia. Bulb count matches the size — 15, 18, 24, or 32 bulbs. Warm White 2700-3000K LED recommended for a soft glow across the porcelain leaves. Bulbs sold separately. The gingko vortex chandelier is dimmable when paired with dimmable LED bulbs and a compatible wall dimmer.
How many porcelain leaves does each size have?
Size S has 220 porcelain leaves, Size M has 330, Size L has 400, and Size XL has 520 — the leaf density is what creates the full spiraling vortex silhouette once every leaf is attached.
Why does the package ship disassembled?
To protect the delicate porcelain ginkgo leaves and brass branches during transit. After unpacking, fan out the brass branches and attach each leaf according to the included guide — assembly video walkthroughs are linked above.
Why are there glue marks on some porcelain leaves?
A small amount of glue is applied at the metal-leaf interface during production so the brass accessory stays securely attached through shipping and long-term use. Slight residue on some leaves is normal — it does not affect the gingko vortex chandelier's appearance or function.
How do I achieve the full vortex shape shown in photos?
The brass branches are flexible. Gently fan out the outermost branches by hand and install every porcelain ginkgo leaf to achieve the full spiraling vortex silhouette shown in the photos. Measure tip-to-tip after fanning to confirm the listed diameter.
Sizing & questions
Every piece is made to order in our own atelier — here is what most clients ask before choosing theirs.
What ceiling height do I need for the Gingko Vortex Chandelier?+
Four sizes fit 10–25 ft ceilings. Size S (H59″) suits 10–12 ft; Size M (H78.7″) fits 14–16 ft; Size L (H98.4″) suits 18–20 ft; Size XL (H118″) fits 22–25 ft atriums. Maintain 7 ft minimum headroom to the floor or lowest step.
Can I customize the Gingko Vortex for my stairwell width?+
Yes. Flexible brass branches ship fanned in and are shaped by hand to fit your space. Diameter should be no wider than half your stairwell or foyer opening. Our atelier can advise custom sizing during order.
Which finish should I choose—Gold, Nickel, or White?+
Gold (brass) pairs warmly with cream or beige interiors; Nickel suits modern, cooler palettes; White works with minimalist schemes. All pair with white porcelain leaves. Choose based on your décor's metal tone and wall color.
Does the Gingko Vortex come fully assembled?+
No—it ships disassembled for safe transit. Assembly includes shaping brass branches by hand and attaching 220–520 porcelain leaves. Video walkthroughs and tools are included. Installation typically takes 2–4 hours with two people.
How do I clean the porcelain leaves and brass?+
Gently dust white porcelain leaves with a soft, dry cloth. For brass, use a microfiber cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners. Minor glue residue on leaves from production is normal and doesn't affect appearance or function.
