Not solid wood — water transfer (hydrographic) print
The walnut grain is printed onto metal and plastic, so minor textural variations, edge overlaps, or slight pattern irregularities are normal. Prefer genuine wood?

The line on the shade comes from the injection-molding process — a standard characteristic, not a defect.

Is this made of real wood?
No — the walnut grain is created by water transfer (hydrographic) printing on metal and plastic. For genuine solid wood, see the solid wood Pebble version linked on this page.
Why is there a visible line on the shade?

Can it switch between warm and cool light?
