Sienna Linen Wall Sconce — hand-crafted fabric, warm uplight, pull chain.
A hand-crafted linen shade — its panels stitched in a soft faceted form that cups the wall and opens at the top — throws warm light upward and backward against the wall, creating a broad ambient wash rather than a focused beam. The vintage-style brass bead pull chain hangs at the front as a quiet gesture of craft and nostalgia. Beige linen, warm glow, aged brass — the Sienna Sconce brings a soft, lived-in warmth to bedrooms, living rooms, and reading corners where ambience matters more than output.
Hand-crafted linen — natural texture, slight variation between pieces
The Sienna shade is hand-sewn from natural fabric linen. The weave texture, panel seam depth, and tonal warmth of the fabric will differ slightly between individual pieces — a natural characteristic of handcraft with textile, not a defect. The linen may show gentle crease marks from packaging which will relax once the lamp is installed and warmed by use.
Hand-Crafted Linen Shade
Faceted panel construction in natural beige linen — organic texture, soft diffusion.
Warm Upward Glow
Open top projects light upward and onto the wall — broad ambient wash, no glare.
Brass Pull Chain
Vintage-style bead chain — tactile, nostalgic, and functional in one detail.

Materials: Metal, Fabric Linen
Control: Pull chain on shade
E26 (US/CA) or E27 (EU/AU) — bulb not included
Compatible with LED and Edison filament bulbs. A warm-white LED at 2700–3000 K is strongly recommended — the warm tone passes through the beige linen weave and up against the wall as a deeply warm, amber-toned wash that defines the Sienna’s character. A globe or candle-tip E26/E27 LED at 4–6W provides comfortable ambient light without overwhelming the intimate scale of the shade. Avoid cool white (5000K+) which reads harsh through natural linen.
Pair two Siennas on either side of a bed or mirror
Two Sienna sconces at matching heights on either side of a headboard or bathroom mirror create a warm, symmetrical ambient arrangement that is both functional and atmospheric. The pull chains add a practical bedside control without requiring a wall switch.

Does the pull chain replace the wall switch, or do I need both?
The Sienna is wired with both options. The vintage pull chain on the shade switches the lamp on and off directly — ideal for bedside use where you don’t want to reach a wall switch. It can also be connected to an external wall switch as the primary control, with the pull chain as a secondary override. Contact your electrician to confirm the preferred wiring configuration for your installation.
The linen shade has crease marks from the packaging. Will they go away?
Yes — natural linen relaxes with gentle warmth. Once installed and the bulb is switched on, the heat from the bulb will gradually ease packing creases over the first few hours of use. Do not use steam, direct iron contact, or heat guns on the shade. If creases persist after a week of use, contact our support team.
Does this sconce direct light upward, downward, or both?
Primarily upward. The Sienna shade is open at the top and closed at the bottom — the majority of light is projected upward and onto the wall behind, creating a broad ambient wash across the upper portion of the wall and ceiling. Some warm light also diffuses through the linen fabric itself, creating a soft glow on the shade’s surface. It is an ambient mood light, not a task or reading light.
Sizing & questions
Every piece is made to order in our own atelier — here is what most clients ask before choosing theirs.
What bulb should I use in the Sienna?+
Use an E26 or E27 LED bulb at 2700–3000 K warm white, 4–6W. Warm tone passes through beige linen as deeply amber light. Avoid cool white (5000K+), which reads harsh through natural fabric.
Where does the Sienna work best?+
Bedside tables, above bathroom mirrors (as a pair on either side), reading corners, and living room walls. The upward glow and soft diffusion suit intimate spaces where ambient warmth matters more than bright output.
Can I customize the size or color?+
The Sienna is hand-crafted in our atelier. Contact us to discuss custom sizing or finishes. We build to order and can explore options tailored to your space.
